Hi Marc, Many thanks to you and the other members of “Second Wind” for your wonderful performance at the OLLI Volunteer Luncheon yesterday.  Every number you did was amazingly appropriate to the occasion and the audience.  You got us up and moving around and singing and very happy.  I look forward to hearing you perform again and, if it is alright with you, would recommend you for other events. Hi Marc,   Thanks so much for participating in and coordinating the music for the 3rd annual Art In The Park. I hope you participate next July 2015. I really appreciate Second Wind and Per Se for being part of this event. The music was really great, and much enjoyed.  It added a lot to our event.       Friends of Bixby Park truly appreciates the donation of your time and talent to play music for our event that supports the restoration and preservation of historic Bixby Park.  I've attached a photos for you. Bixby Knolls First Friday

Unite for Education Rally, Wilson High School, Long Beach, CA, March 4, 2010:  "As an organizer of the recent event attended by 2,500, this band played a key role in the success of our event."  Second Wind provided an extremely professional and entertaining show.  They donated their time to our not for profit event...We heard fantastic reviews from those who attended.  They more than held their own with both a large crowd and with another musician, Tom Morello:  The Nightwatchman.” - Joe Boyd, Executive Director

Marc, Pattie and David played a full concert at the Found last June, absolutely delighting a full house. They are not only skilled musicians, but consummate professionals, who arrive on time, bring all of the necessary gear, and set up quickly and smoothly. They use their mastery of acoustic guitar, bass, banjo and accordion to create an eclectic repertoire of music ranging from original pieces to folk, bluegrass, country, pop, jazz, and even French and Mexican standards, all beautifully and authentically performed. They also have a great on-stage demeanor, punctuating songs with brief stories about their origins that are both educational and very enjoyable. When the Found took on the huge undertaking of putting together a fundraiser for Doctors Without Borders' Haiti relief effort just four days after the earthquake, Second Wind was one of the first groups to step up and volunteer for this important cause, once again eliciting an incredible response from a standing-room-only crowd. Thanks to them, and the other generous artists who volunteered their time that night, we were able to raise $4,000 for DWB is a single, highly enjoyable evening.” - Virginia DeMoss, Executive Director

Glad to hear you like the mixes!  I had a great time working with you and learned a lot in the process, and hope you had just as much fun as I did.  When my mom heard me mixing "Hey Good Lookin'", it took her back to great memories of growing up on a farm in Ohio and riding on the tractor with her dad (who died before I was born) and singing during the day, it was really touching.  I'll be sending a CD to my grandma who still lives on that farmhouse, I think she'd really enjoy it.  Just further proof that "Songs Your Mother Should Know" rings true - across two generations!
